The name Boatwatcher came to be when two boating enthusiasts started thinking about a video show about...what else. The really cool names were taken, so that's what we wound up with. We shot a lot of video, walked the docks, spent countless hours on the water and cruised the Channel Islands. In the end, the project died a slow death and boatwatcher.com was all that was left. Now it's a photo blog.

The name is still relevant though, cause I'm still The Boatwatcher. I'm also the Critterwatcher, the Landscapewatcher, the Planewatcher and just about everything else you can shoot with a camera. Some photos may be art but mostly they're just a little slice of my world that I like to share. Some will be current, but if I have a bad visual day, I'll reach back in time for an old favorite.

I've been a professional photographer, videographer and writer for most of my life but mostly I enjoy sharing my world in photographs. This site is just for fun. Enjoy.....and let me know if you like 'em.
